thank you so much for visiting!
i am a photographer based in portland, oregon. i'm available for assignments including weddings, headshots, high school senior + family portraits, commercial & editorial work and much more - in oregon and worldwide. i love to travel!
in my first high school photography class, i fell in love with photographing my friends and family, processing film, and printing black and white images. in 2009 i graduated from Oregon State University with a bfa in photography. i made the switch to digital while in college but still shoot with film whenever i can. 2019 will be my 10th year shooting weddings and i’m so grateful to have been able to work with such amazing clients over the years!
i am truly inspired by the way photography distills emotion and beauty into an image. i do this for the honor of sharing in these unique moments, in the little details and spontaneity that come from letting a shoot unfold in a natural way. i want to capture your true self, at this moment in time: the joy of your wedding day; your connection with the ones you love; your creative concept come to life. i believe in each shoot as a collaboration between me and you. through open communication and your trust in my creative vision, we will create images that you will love!
while i live in the heart of the city and adore shooting in an urban landscape, i eagerly welcome the opportunity to explore a wild landscape with you as well. one of the things i love most about Portland is the proximity to such beautiful places - forest, mountain, ocean, city, it’s all at our fingertips!
a few things about me: i live in NE portland with my husband, daughter Djuna, and son Felix, as well as our two ridiculous pups (Ella-Roux and Einstein). i have a dark sense of humor but am also totally sentimental. i love Wes Anderson movies. i cook, practice yoga, and go to music festivals. and of course, i'm always taking pictures.
i'd love to meet you! head over to the "contact me" page or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
