well, it’s been about 6 months of weddings and other sessions since i’ve managed to blog anything - but i’m finally able to share what i’ve been up to here! first up is Lance and Lauren’s romantic wedding in Abigail’s Garden at the Abernethy Center.
It was a gorgeous May evening wedding, so lush and green! Lauren and her mom put together the most lovely decor - deep blue chevron table runners with gold accents and candles beautifully set off the shades of pink in the florals by Arranged For You.
Lance and Lauren’s love story has been a journey with ups and downs and they’ve made it through together, and built a strong family with their sweet son Grayson. Many of their friends and family gave emotional and heartfelt toasts that truly expressed just how loved and supported these two are. It’s been so fun reliving Lauren and Lance’s wedding day to make this post. Wishing them so much happiness!!!

i spent a wonderful snowy afternoon in February with Heather and Jamie for their engagement session! we had a great time - they were such troopers (it was obviously cooooold), and we all managed not to fall over too much tromping in the snow. can't wait for their wedding this fall at Zenith Vineyard - it's so fun to have such a contrast between the snowy engagement session and the lush greenery of a vineyard wedding.
i met Rachel and Michael for the first time at their engagement session and i immediately felt super comfortable with them! they are so sweet and have such great chemistry - they trusted me to choose a few of my favorite locations and photographing them was so much fun! i absolutely can't wait for their wedding next month at Mt Pisgah. xx

when your friend finds the love of his life, and she's completely amazing in every way... being a part of this wedding was SO special for me. James and Janessa are such thoughtful friends and complement each other so beautifully.
photography-wise, i was pretty much in heaven with this stunning bride and groom; two spectacular dresses; bridal party in classy all-black; everyone getting ready in a light-filled condo with a great view; all that winter light, ahh i could have wandered around downtown Portland all day with them! Urban Studio felt cozy and intimate - filled with candles, hanging lights, beautiful florals, and geometric details highlighted with gold and glittery table numbers. Janessa's father and her grandfather made the most awesome arch for the ceremony, and it made a stunning focal point for the dessert table during the reception. it was a magical night!
i am indescribably happy for these two and cannot wait to see how their life together unfolds!!
