it would be quite the understatement to say that i am excited for Rachel & Andrew's wedding this fall. they are super laid-back and fun to be around, and so photogenic! they chose a lifestyle engagement session which i love - i had a great time with them on this rainy Portland afternoon.

holy moly, two months since my last blog post! i've been busy with various assignments and a whole lotta mamahood, but i definitely need to get back in the habit of blogging! i am so excited for the upcoming wedding season, mostly because of couples like this one - Abbi + Keith! these two are so warm, friendly, smiley and sweet to each other, and their engagement session was so much fun. we took a walk around Commonwealth Lake with their two pups; we had the most lovely fall light.

These two are a lot of fun, and so is their awesome pup Oscar!! He was a very patient model, only demanded one short break to chase a squirrel. Really looking forward to Eileen & Brent's wonderful wedding this August!
I'm so thrilled to be photographing this awesome couple's wedding this August at Wellspring Spa near Mt. Rainier. They are from Seattle but came down to Portland for a little mini-vacation for Katy's birthday and braved the rain with me for their engagement portraits. We went down to Waterfront Park, checked out the saturday market, headed over to Forest Park, and then back over to the Eastbank Esplanade. It was really fun getting to know these two and I'm so looking forward to their wedding!
i really enjoyed photographing Erin & Ford's engagement session!! it was a beautiful overcast Portland-y day in Hoyt Arboretum. can't wait for their wedding in October!
I had the best time with this wonderful couple, Ellie & Jesse. We walked around all afternoon, from their adorable beach cottage, to the ocean, to a special lookout point, and then finished out their engagement session at the Cape Meares Lighthouse. It was such a beautiful day, especially for January. Ellie and Jesse are both very kind and creative souls and I'm so excited for their wedding this July!
