you may remember these two from their lovely engagement session (check out the post here) - we were able to shoot part of their session at their wedding venue, which made it extra special to come back to Lewis & Clark Catering on their big day this past fall! Matthew and Kelly are the sweetest couple. Their wedding was so much fun and I truly enjoyed working with them.

an absolutely exquisite, intimate backyard wedding. two of the coolest people you will ever meet, and their hilarious, welcoming, and all-around-awesome family and friends.
there aren't enough words for how warm and lovely this couple is. a bride who will climb halfway up the dune at Cape Kiwanda in her wedding dress for her first look. a groom who is waiting up there for her, and when he sees her has love and amazement written all over his face. he is such a romantic, and she has the most wonderful infectious laugh! these two are a great team, and their chemistry is just something beautiful to be around. their day was so special, and i was absolutely honored to be part of it.

so many things to love about this day - the sweetest vow renewal with a laidback backyard party vibe. a day about family and good friends, a day about commitment. Kittie's first look with her dad, then her son, and then Brian... kids playing, guests laughing, ridiculously good food, tearful speeches, wedding donuts from Voodoo (and birthday candles!) - everything a celebration should be. it was truly a beautiful night! so many congratulations to Kittie & Brian and their family!

a wedding is about love, above all. this is said often, but can never be said enough! family, friends, venue, decor, food, cake, music, dancing, speeches, the dresses, the suits, the jewelry - these things are icing. this one was no exception, it had the whole package! all on a beautiful sunny August afternoon, and with a super cute doggie ringbearer! but for me the highlight of this day was the first look - after spending the morning preparing for this moment, as soon as Erin saw Matt, she relaxed so completely. this is what it is all about - the two of you. your love, and the promise you make to each other to never forget that. take a deep breath, and soak it all in.
what a gorgeous evening this was! Matt & Megan are lots of fun and chose the most beautiful locations for their photos. I am so happy to *finally* share their engagement session - this blog has been sadly neglected as usual! wrapping up the last few engagement sessions before wedding season begins. lots more to share soon, as always.
