tai and i had such a good time shooting her new business headshots at cathedral park and the nw industrial area. she has perfect skin, a great smile, and tons of style. that, plus the early morning light made for some beautiful portraits.

elise is an extremely talented zumba instructor - and totally gorgeous. she wanted some shots of her at work in her studio at PSU, as well as some portraits, so we spent some time in and around PSU on a beautiful day in August. can't wait to work with her again soon! :) check out her facebook page for info about her classes.
Johanna and I met when we were nine. It's one of those friendships that pick up right where we left off no matter how much time has passed - we've hardly ever lived in the same place over all these years, and life gets busy as we all know, but when we would reconnect, it was like no time had passed. So I had heard stories about Amanda for quite some time, obviously, but I didn't actually meet her until the day of the wedding!
What can I say about their wedding? My first time on a vespa, shooting while being driven by their yoga teacher. Witnessing their morning yoga session on the spot where they would later be married. Being welcomed by their incredibly kind families - they really could not have been more gracious to me. The lovely, intimate, meaningful ceremony, and all the care that went into creating the altar and blessings, and the promises made between Jo and Amanda. Plenty of time for portraits (always appreciated!). And the reception... Held at the amazing home of a family friend, with dinner by The London Chef - don't even get me started on the food. Or the gluten-free cakes. Seriously - unreal.
I could go on and on, but let's let the photographs speak for themselves. The happiness is infectious. I cannot describe how filled with joy I am for these two and their families and friends. And for myself, that I got to be there.
Lynnae & Daniel were married in Abigail's Garden at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City in August. It was a million degrees out, and these two were such troopers in that heat. Everything about this wedding was very classy and beautiful - with special touches like a Superman groom's cake, and late night snacks of cheese, crackers, and Voodoo doughnuts. Congratulations to you both!!
This wedding has a special place in my heart, because I got to see two good friends get married after 10 years together, and celebrate their marriage with our college friends and their families. Megan and Tony, I have never seen you two happier. I was so overwhelmed and grateful to have been your photographer. To be able to know you as a couple for years and see you grow and change together has been amazing, and to see how well you complement each other and support each other is even better.
